How Fox is questioned because of her beliefs illustrates how tough it is for women to succeed in what is largely a male dominated profession. According to a Deloitte study in 2023, women fill much fewer blue-collar jobs than men. Women represent a very small percentage of people in the construction and trade industries. Fox believes that despite all the criticism, growing interest in coming up could inspire more women to choose trade careers. She often works in types of jobs where men take charge and from this she realizes that being confident and direct helps her resolve issues.
