Sarah was used to lots of stress and pressure because she worked as a marketing expert. But on a recent trip from New York to Los Angeles, she had to deal with a different kind of problem: a cocky customer who thought the whole world spun around him. The man, who was wearing a smart suit and a high-end watch, gave off an air of arrogance that was hard to ignore.
Sarah tried to ignore his behaviour at first because she thought he might be stressed or having a bad day. When the flight staff started to serve food, though, his true colours came out. As soon as Sarah placed her order, he took it and started eating, saying it was his. He wouldn’t listen to her, even though she was polite, and the flight attendant had to step in to explain the mistake.
The man’s sense of privilege was shocking, and Sarah was shocked that he wouldn’t say sorry or apologise. Instead, he kept acting like he owned the plane, calling for drinks and snacks from the flight staff without caring about their time. The other people in the car noticed what he was doing and gave him knowing looks as he barks orders.
But karma always finds a way to catch up with people, and the man’s pride finally brought him down. As they were going down into Los Angeles, he dropped his drink and it got all over his expensive pants. Just seeing the look of pain and shame on his face was hilarious, and Sarah couldn’t help but feel good about the dramatic justice.
As the plane touched down and the people got off, Sarah couldn’t help but think about what had happened. The man’s actions were a harsh lesson of how important it is to be humble and show respect. His actions were based on a sense of privilege and pride, but Sarah stayed calm and focused on her goals. At the end, it was clear who had won.
Sarah was thankful for the lesson as she made her way to San Diego and continued her trip. She promised to always be kind and respectful to others.
