A teacher saw a student in the back of the class who was squirming and scratching and seemed very unhappy. She went up to him and quietly asked what was wrong because she was worried.
The shy boy said in a whisper that he was itchy after being circumcised not long ago. The teacher told him in a sympathetic way to talk to the director and call his mother for help.
He did what she said and went back to class. But all of a sudden, there was a noise in the back of the room.
When the teacher went to check on the boy, he was sitting at his desk with his pants down. She yelled, “I thought I told you to call your mom!”
The calm boy said, “Yes, I did. She told me she’d pick me up from school at noon if I could make it.”
