Many people don’t know their neighbours, but one young actor’s amazing act of kindness has touched many people all over the world. Chris Salvatore, an actress who is 31 years old, became friends with Norma Cook, an 85-year-old neighbour, after moving into her apartment block in 2013.
After the initial welcomes, they became close friends, and Salvatore often went to see Cook and her cat, Hermes. When Cook’s health started to get worse at age 89, Salvatore knew she needed care all the time. Cook didn’t have many options since he didn’t have any family close.
In order to help his close friend Cook, Salvatore set up a GoFundMe page to pay for his care. But as he looked into different ways to care for her, he knew he had to do more.
