Country music superstar Luke Bryan is navigating a new challenge in his life: teaching his 15-year-old son, Thomas “Bo” Boyer Bryan, how to drive. This rite of passage is an exciting but nerve-wracking experience for any parent, and Luke is no exception.
In a recent interview on the Katie & Company podcast, Luke shared his thoughts on Bo’s driving skills, or lack thereof. “He’s 15, so he’s doing the whole learner’s permit thing. He’s not a very good driver right now, so we’re having to work with him pretty hard,” Luke said with a chuckle.

Luke’s frustration stems from Bo’s confidence behind the wheel, despite his lack of skills. “He thinks he knows how to drive, but he has no idea what he’s doing,” Luke said. “He thinks because he can operate a 4-wheeler or Polaris, he’s quite proficient, but he’s not, I assure you.”

In addition to driving lessons, Bo recently achieved a major milestone: catching his first 10-pound fish. Luke proudly shared the news on the podcast, saying, “It took him 15 years, it took me 46 years.” This accomplishment is a testament to Luke’s patience and dedication as a father.
As Luke navigates the ups and downs of parenthood, he’s also busy working on his upcoming album. With 10 songs already recorded, Luke plans to add more tracks before releasing the album. He’s also gearing up for his FarmTour, a mini tour that will take place in September.
