Bob had a habit of enjoying his evenings a bit too much, and one night was no exception. After stumbling into bed late, he found himself in a rather unexpected situation – standing before St. Peter at the Pearly Gates. But instead of accepting his fate, Bob struck a deal to return to life, albeit with a twist – as a chicken.
As the night began, Bob slipped into bed quietly beside his peacefully sleeping wife, unaware of the surprises that lay ahead. But as dawn broke, he found himself standing before the majestic Pearly Gates, greeted by St. Peter with a clipboard in hand.
St. Peter delivered the news that Bob had passed away in his sleep, but offered a solution – a chance to return to life, but only as a chicken. Desperate to get back to life, Bob reluctantly agreed and was instantly transported to a nearby farm, now covered in feathers and clucking involuntarily.
As a hen, Bob was greeted by a smug rooster who introduced him to the world of egg-laying. Despite initial confusion and discomfort, Bob found joy in this new experience, laying egg after egg. But just as he was getting the hang of it, a sharp smack to the back of his head jolted him awake, revealing that it was all just a wild dream – or was it?
Bob’s wife hollered at him to wake up, telling him he was drunk again and had an accident in the bed. But Bob couldn’t shake off the feeling that his experience as a chicken had been all too real. Had he really been given a second chance at life, or was it just the result of a drunken night?
