As Mary got ready for the fancy anniversary party her husband John had planned, her heart was racing with joy. After ten years of marriage, she knew that John’s careful planning would make this night one she would never forget.
Mary saw family, friends, and business partners as she came down the stairs. She looked beautiful in her new dress and red shoes. But one person stood out: Lauren, John’s sister, who seemed to enjoy making things hard for Mary.
