Recently, a sad story came out from Georgia about Sienna Stewart, who was 18. She died just a few weeks after attending her high school’s graduation celebration.
When Sienna was four years old, she was told she had serious cardiomyopathy. Four years later, she got a new heart. In April, though, she was told she had heart failure, which made her upset at the graduation event.
And even though Sienna passed out during the event, she woke up and insisted on going across the stage to get her diploma. Many people were moved by her bravery and drive. At the event, she was photographed happy and shaking hands with a school official.
Unfortunately, Sienna’s health got worse, and she passed out again just two weeks after the wedding. Saevon Chum, her mother, remembered how terrible it was when she had to call 911 because she didn’t know if her daughter would wake up.
After a few days, Sienna died in the hospital. She was loved by her family and friends. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Sienna’s family, and over $10,000 has been raised so far. Her mother remembered her as a strong young woman who fought every day.
People who knew Sienna say that she was a bright light with a bubbly personality, kindness, and love that moved everyone. Her story has touched many people, and her family and friends will miss her very much.
