In his fiery autobiography, Spare, Prince Harry wrote about the famous fight between his wife, Meghan Markle, and Kate Middleton. The event happened just a few days before the 2018 wedding of Harry and Meghan Markle.
There were rumours going around that Meghan made Kate cry while she was trying on bridesmaid dresses. In an interview with Oprah, Meghan later said that Kate had actually said sorry for making her cry.
Harry, on the other hand, gave a more thorough version of what happened before the fight. He said the fight started when Kate called Meghan four days before the wedding to say she was worried about how her daughter Charlotte’s dress fit.
When Meghan didn’t answer right away, Kate got angry, and the exchange quickly got worse. The text messages that Harry showed were between the two women and showed a tense and emotional conversation.
Kate insisted that all the dresses had to be redone, and the fight was mostly about the changes that needed to be made to Charlotte’s dress. Because Meghan was already stressed out from her dad’s pranks, she thought Kate’s requests were too much.
Following the argument, Meghan broke down in tears, and Harry found her “sobbing on the floor” when he got home. The problem was fixed the next day, though, when Kate went to see Meghan with flowers and a card to say she was sorry for the confusion.
Even though the Royal Family didn’t say anything about Harry’s claims, the event showed how complicated and difficult royal relationships can be.
