A touching holiday tribute to retailers who stand up for Christmas

The argument over whether to say “Happy Holidays” or “Merry Christmas” gets stronger as the holidays get closer. But some stores are bravely celebrating the real meaning of Christmas and not giving in to social norms.

The American Family Association (AFA) has named a number of stores that proudly enjoy Christmas. We should all support these stores. These stores show that they care about keeping the holiday joy alive.

Let’s cheer for the Christmas winners:

Hobby Lobby is out front when it comes to celebrating the holidays with Christian music and beliefs. For the sake of the Sabbath, they even close on Sundays.

Hobby Lobby and Belk are both sharing Christmas cheer by saying “Merry Christmas” in a more personal way.

Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, Nordstrom doesn’t put up Christmas displays until after the turkey has been carved. This thoughtful move makes sure that workers can also enjoy the celebrations.

Home Depot brazenly uses the word “Christmas,” which is why the AFA put them on their list of places that are good for Christmas.

The AFA gave Wal-Mart the highest grade possible for how well they promoted and celebrated Christmas. We should thank this huge store chain.

Macy’s is known for its famous Christmas parade, and the holiday spirit can be found in all of its shops and on its website.

After some problems in the past, JCPenney has made up for it by making sure that Christmas is still a big part of its shopping experience.

Bass Pro Shops supports Christmas and works with Duck Dynasty, which makes fans happy.

Lowe’s website and stores are both filled with Christmas cheer, so there’s no room for Grinches.

Surprisingly, Toys ‘R Us is at the top of the list because it uses the word “Christmas” a lot and has a popular holiday catalogue.

Share this touching tribute on social media with your family and friends, and let’s get excited about Christmas again!
